Still Have Questions?
If you need help choosing a matcha or have questions about your order, feel free to contact us. We’re always happy to help you find the right matcha for your ritual.

What is Ritual Matcha?
Ritual Matcha is a curated selection of premium Japanese matcha sourced from trusted tea farms, producers, and tea artisans in Japan. Each matcha is chosen for quality, flavor clarity, and versatility — whether for traditional preparation or modern drinks.

Where is your matcha sourced from?
Our matcha is sourced directly from Japan. We have carefully selected matcha from Uji, Yame, and Shizuoka because these regions consistently deliver the balance of quality, reliability, and flavor expression we look for in both home and professional use.

Is Ritual Matcha ceremonial grade?
We offer different grades to suit different uses:

Ceremonial Grade – for traditional drinking and pure matcha – usucha, koicha, clear matcha and premium lattes

Café Grade – for matcha lattes and everyday drinks

Culinary Grade – for cooking, baking, and recipes

Each product description clearly states our recommended use.

Is your matcha sweetened?
No. All Ritual Matcha products are 100% pure matcha powder with no added sugar, flavoring, or preservatives.

How do I prepare matcha at home?
For the total experience and perfectly brewed matcha, we recommend using a bamboo whisk (chasen). Other options include a shaker, milk frother or a smoothie blender. Basic steps and brewing tips are included on our product pages, and we also share step-by-step tutorials on our YouTube channel.

Do I need traditional tools to make matcha?
Traditional tools enhance the experience, but they are not required. Many customers successfully prepare matcha using simple home tools. We guide both traditional and modern preparation methods.

How should I store matcha?
Store matcha in a cool, dry place away from light, heat, and moisture. Once opened, keep the tin tightly sealed. For best flavor and color, we recommend consuming matcha within 4–8 weeks after opening.

Can I store matcha in the fridge?
Unopened matcha may be stored in the fridge to extend freshness if properly sealed.  When taking it out of the fridge, wait for at least half an hour before use.

Can I store matcha in the freezer?
For cafes with a large stock of matcha, unopened matcha may be stored in the freezer to extend shelf life. Take it out of the freezer overnight before use.

Do you offer matcha workshops or training?
Yes. Ritual Matcha offers workshops ranging from beginner to advanced, for home or business. Please check our Workshops pages or contact us for details.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
Yes. We work with cafés, businesses, and creators who need matcha in larger quantities. Please contact us through our wholesale inquiry form for pricing and availability.

Can I use Ritual Matcha for my café or business?
Absolutely. Our matcha is designed to perform well in commercial settings. We also provide guidance on menu development, preparation, and consistency.

Are you open for collaborations?
